Woodleigh Loxton District Children’s Centre will
hold a garage sale from 8am to 12.30pm at 11
Tobruk Terrace. Proceeds to go towards shade
sails for the centre. To book your own stall, or for

A breakfast to celebrate International Women’s
Day will be held at the Loxton Hotel from 7.30am
for an 8am start. Tickets are $25 and include
breakfast. Registrations for the event are to be
made at the hotel by end of business today. For

Students leading Loxton High
Loxton High School’s 2015 student
leaders were officially inducted at a
special ceremony last Wednesday.
The student representative council mem-
bers, prefects and house captains received
badges on stage, acknowledging their ser-
vice to the school.

A day full of fun and activities
will take place at the Loxton
Horse Riding Club this Saturday
for a special Pink Games Day.
As part of the day’s events, Loxton
Horse Riding Club member Tanya
Fisher will shave her locks, raising
funds for the National Breast Cancer
The Pink Games Day will consist
of fun gymkhana games in addition to
two-legged activities from 9am.
Riders and horses are encouraged
to wear pink on the day, as are any

Local women are invited to
Loxton’s first International
Women’s Day celebration next
The breakfast celebration, which will
be hosted by the Loxton Rotary Club
at the Loxton Hotel this Sunday, aims
to recognise and celebrate the contribu-
tion of women in the community.
SA Senator Anne Ruston will be a
guest speaker at the event. Tickets are
$25 and includes breakfast.
