Voting will commence from 10am til 7:15pm on Monday

Manager of The Loxton Club prior to the day of the
Annual General Meeting.

A public meeting will be held at the Loxton CWA
on Wednesday, 17 September, 2014 at 7.00pm.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and
seek interest from the community to develop an
art and craft shop in Loxton.

PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING MOBILE PHONE BASE
STATION AT LOXTON
As part of a national coverage upgrade project Optus plan to upgrade an existing
telecommunications facility at the SA Water Tower, Section 135 Tower Road LOXTON SA 5333
– Site ref: A0070
1. The proposed upgrade will involve the following:
● The removal of five (5) existing panel antennas, to be replaced with three (3)
new larger antennas, represented as six (6) panel sections, each measuring less
than 2.8m in length, on the existing structure;
● The installation of twelve (12) Remote Radio Units on the existing structure and
● The installation of ancillary equipment such as works within the existing
2. Optus regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility under the
Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 1997 (“The Determination”)
based on the descriptions above.
